Water Well with Hand Pump

Kama Relief is working hard to make sure more vulnerable communities have access to clean water. We have begun digging and installing water wells in many communities, allowing much easier access to clean water. We have dug over 150 water wells, allowing families to stay healthy and focus on other aspects of their lives. These wells have been dug in the most needed localities, particularly the rural areas, where there is little access to clean water. Once the well is built, Kama Relief ensures that the well is maintained and running properly for years to come.

You can help build a water well for a small village of around 20 or more families (up to 200 people or more). Your donation will help complete a new well, along with a pump and dedicated land (donated by the community) for only $1,200. Imagine each drop of water that touches their thirsty lips, that drops from their face during wudu, will be written for you with Allah.

Water Well Maintenance

Once a well is dug, Kama Relief makes sure the wells are in good working order throughout their life. Through regular inspections and maintenance as needed, these well will last a lifetime insha Allah. For as little as $50, you can make sure a well is kept in good condition and always providing clean water no vulnerable communities.

Deep Water Well with Solar Panels

In areas where the water table is deep, in the mountain regions, or in more remote areas, Kama Relief will dig bigger water wells with an electrical pump system (powered by solar panels and batteries), and other features to make water more accessible and available to a larger population. These larger wells will vary in cost, but typically no more than $3000 for the entire system. Depending on the size of the community, these water wells can give access to clean water to hundreds of families.
