Support General Education for Boys and Girls
Every child deserves a chance to succeed. The most vulnerable, unfortunately, often get left behind, and the cycle continues. Help to end this cycle by providing proper education to those left behind, specifically orphan children. We are currently helping to support one school in Kabul and plans for a similar one in Jalalabad. The school is for both boys and girls, and completely free of charge.
The school has 10 teachers, as well as an administrator and security guard. The school will support hundreds of students and will teach reading/writing, English, computer literacy, and math, as well as Microsoft Office and tailoring. For $100, you can support the salary of one teacher for a month, providing dozens of students with proper education. Or help provide supplies and running costs to keep the school open. Sponsor a Quran Teacher/student
The Quran is the word of the Almighty. It is a guidance to mankind and brings tranquility to the soul. You can help bring this guidance and tranquility to hundreds of students by supporting our Quran teachers who teach the proper reading, memorization, and understanding of the Quran. A young boy or girl who learns the Quran grows up with good manners, a good outlook on life, and is able to benefit himself/herself and others. Many of the students go on to further their study in religion, lead prayers and become teachers who go on to teach others. Kama Relief supports over 30 teachers in this program. These teachers are often in financial need themselves and receive no salary from the students.
Back-to-School Backpack and Supplies
Going back to school can be a daunting experience for any child, but it can be especially challenging for those who don’t have the resources they need to succeed. That’s why Kama Relief is committed to providing backpacks and school supplies to children from underprivileged backgrounds. Many orphan children enrolled in school do not even have a single pencil, and borrow from classmates just to get by. With your support, we can help ensure that every child has the tools they need to thrive academically while lifting their spirits knowing they will not be left behind. For $10, we can provide a brand-new backpack with all the essential school supplies for a young boy or girl to succeed. This program is zakat-eligible.
